There\u2019s something about hearing a voice that brings me back to center. But then New Year\u2019s passes, and something changes. For the next few days, I went to  AA meetings, collected phone numbers and then went home and drank alone. Don\u2019t even think about the holidays. Just to try not to drink, just for one day,\u201d they said.
